Past | Keepers | Cargo
The Plasticine Men came into being as a collaboration between Simon Day and the duo, Spanner. After short pieces The Three Musketeers and Audience Manual came Cargo in 2008, a hazy lyrical exploration of the phenomenon of cargo-cults in the South Pacific.
Their last show, Keepers, was made with Simon directing performers Fionn Gill and Martin Bonger, with musician Lawrence Williams. Keepers was based on the a true story that unfolded on the Smalls Lighthouse off the Welsh coast in 1801. The show toured the UK in Spring 2011 following a storming run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2010.
